“How good something is should never be determined by its cost, designer, origin, or its perceived value by others.”

Grandmothers are known for the love they have towards their families—being strict to their children and spoiling their grandchildren. A grandmother’s love is also made visible through all the trinkets and knick-knacks she collects throughout her life--items that show who she is, where she has been, and the struggles she has faced. Each grandmother has their own thing they collect-- ranging from angels to figurines to dolls. My grandmother collects them all. Scattered throughout her home, you see traces of her prized possessions, each one with its own specific space to occupy; each one with its own memory attached. With all the carefully cared for items unique to her home, my grandmother’s house is truly beautiful and one of a kind.
